The oldest member of the U.S. Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, was hospitalized on Tuesday. Ginsburg, who is aged 87, has experienced an array of recent health issues. For example, Ginsburg was hospitalized due to extreme fever in November of 2019. She also required pancreatic cancer treatment in August of last year, required lung cancer treatment in December of 2018, and broke 3 of her ribs in November of 2018. According to CDC data, there is a 25% chance that Ginsburg dies by the end of 2020. Despite this, Ginsburg has elected to remain a justice. If President Trump wins re-election, Ginsburg will likely have no choice than to retire.
